The Flying Pig Heads to U.K. to Meet “Best” Quizmaster at Parkinson Fundraiser on March 5, 2013

Flying pigs may not be kosher, but they sure are cute. And they love quizzes! This one was tipped off by a Cornish Guardian article featuring St Blazey‘s quintessential quizmaster — Jon Best. Diagnosed with Young Onset Parkinson’s disease, Best crafted this fundraising quiz to celebrate St Piran’s Day and raise money for James Parkinson Centre — where People with Parkinson’s, and Carers, have information and access to health and social care service provision to enable their independence. The prize for the winning quiz sheet returned by St Piran’s Day  (March 5, 2013) is a signed copy of Robert Goddard‘s book Fault Line, a gripping thriller set in Cornwall.

Quizzes can be bought by sending a self-addressed envelope and a cheque for £1 to Jon Best, 202 Old Roselyon Road, St Blazey, Par, Cornwall, PL24 2LR. Donations to  James Parkinson Centre are always appreciated.
