Today’s Pink Stroke of Genius: Medina Community Fundraiser Helps Hairstylist With Stage 4 Metastatic Breast Cancer

Medina is a small city in Gibson County, Tennessee. But this past Saturday night, something big happened there! Medina Hair Studio held an all day fundraiser for  their hairstylist Brittany Kail — a 26-year old mom undergoing chemo treatment for Stage 4 metastatic breast cancer. Hundreds of people turned out for the silent auction, the bake sale, the carnival games (including the dunking booth).  And by the end of the day, over $26,000.00 was raised in support of Brittany and her young family. Now that’s inspiring!

Hello my name is Jason Kail. Brittany is my sister-in-law. We think it is so awesome to see Brittany’s story all the way up in Canada. It was a great day — so many people showed up to support her. We sold over 800 T-shirts and bracelets! You can watch her hair cut on YouTube. Thanks so much for posting our story on your website. Keep doing such beautiful art. All glory to God!
