The Flying Pig Heads to Western Masters Art Show & Quick Finish Auction Fundraiser for Parkinson’s in Great Falls, Montana

Flying pigs may not be kosher, but they sure are cute. And they love buying original art. This pig popped up in my dream and flew all the way to Great Falls, Montana for the annual Western Masters Art Show & Quick Finish and Live Auction fundraiser in support of The Michael J. Fox Foundation. It takes place at the Best Western Heritage Inn Wednesday, March 15 through Saturday, March 17th and features original artworks by 13 artists, including Carol Hagan, partner/wife of Pat Hagan — who launched this fundraiser last year after being diagnosed with early onset Parkinson’s disease. 1. Robyn,
Thank you so much for the blog featuring the Western Masters Quick Finish event to benefit The Michael J. Fox Foundation, as well as ALL of the wonderful exposure you gave to the event, my battle, and Carol’s work. We truly appreciate it, and we look forward to reading your book and seeing more of your artwork….and hopefully to meeting you in person in Great Falls, or if not, someday soon! It should really be a great day on Saturday, March 17th with the Quick Finish to help raise funds for The Fox Foundation. We’ve got an incredible lineup of artists who have all generously agreed half, if not all, of the proceeds from their auction pieces to my Team Fox. It’s a very humbling experience. Take good care of yourself, Robyn, and thank you again.

    • Hi Pat and Carol,
You’re welcome! I’m happy to help raise awareness for your amazing event — and I hope to hear back from you both with news about how your art fundraiser went.
      Best wishes,
      Robyn

  2. Hi Robyn,
Wow! What a tremendous success the Western Masters Art Show & Sale was. Lot’s of good bidding in the auctions, lots of sales, and lots of great friends getting together for this 4 day event in Great Falls, Montana every March. And, as far as the Quick Finish and auction to benefit The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research, we raised an amazing $63,275.00, with a good chance of moving that total up in the $70,000.00+ range in the next few weeks. Thanks to my artist friends, including Jahn Gawne, Linda Tuma Robertson, Michael Ome Untiedt, Nancy Dunlop Cawdrey, Tom Gilleon, Brent Cotton, Charles Fritz, Joe Veazquez, Carol Hagan(my best friend), Gary Lynn Roberts, Tom Saubert, Joe Kronenberg, and Steve Lillegard, the volunteers, and my Partners Morgan, Steve, and Nancy Cawdrey, we made it happen!
Carol and I will be heading off to New York in April for The Michael J. Fox Foundation Awards dinner, and we can’t wait to thank them all for the support and inspiration they’ve given us. It’s a great group of people fighting for a cure and for better treatments for those of us with Parkinson’s Disease.
    Take Care,
    Pat and Carol Hagan
