Lucky Star

“Getting Parkinson’s is a good way to get out of doing housework.”
That’s what a neighbour told me. He was right.
For the past few years, my husband has been doing most of the chores.
Call me lucky. Call me spoiled. Call me complacent.
Not anymore – his back is out of whack and I’ve been on domestic duty for weeks.
Call me stressed. Call me exhausted. Call me lucky – now that help has arrived.
Her name is Becky, she hails from Ohio. She’s my star!
