Ode to the Postcard

My friend mailed me a handwritten postcard. Her message traveled all the way from Geneva to Vancouver and arrived without a crinkle or a smudge or electronic ping or telephone ring. A small miracle in this big World Wide Web.

The lure of this rectangular missive is not lost on me.

Thanks Linda!
