Michael J. Fox Describes His New TV Show to Robyn Michele Levy on Amazon

Boy, do I ever feel lucky! We meet again on Amazon’s Bestsellers in Parkinson’s Disease. Lucky Man is currently ranked #4 and Most Of Me is currently ranked #5. But best of all, before nodding off, Michael told me all about his new NBC sitcom! It’s loosely based on his own life, and he’ll play a newscaster and a dad with the disease. This is great news! Years ago, he wondered: “Can sick people be funny?” Of course we can — especially if we have Parkinson’s!

Hi Robyn: Glad you are just a pace behind such a well known star as Michael Fox. I cannot help thinking that you both were in the same CBC building, as well as others who all have Parkinsons. Was there any research on that? Love, T.

  Hi T, I believe there was one study that referred to this “cluster” of Early Onset PD. But I don’t have the data. I do know that MJF & his crew worked in a different building than the one I worked in and also Marg – the Answer Lady. Maybe in your spare time you can do a research project on this topic?   I saw part of the interview. He has definitely transformed. Particularly his speech. Not much mumbling or slurring of words. Funny as ever. Whatever drugs he’s on, I want some! Love Robyn
