Hi Robyn – Fellow Vancouverite and multiple chronic illness coper here… I just wanted to say thank you so much for putting your experiences out into the world in book form. I just re-read it last week, as part of my working on putting together a zine about chronic illness… it’s just so heart-wrenching and bizarrely comforting to spend time connected (even by reading) to others who have bodies that are uncontrollable, undependable, “it’s always something”-ing… I don’t know how you have such a good sense of humour about all of it – I hope one day I will too! Your book was really one of the best I’ve read, it made me feel far less alone in my struggles.

Thanks for letting me know how my book has helped you. Sorry you are dealing with multiple chronic illness. As for having a good sense of humour, I’m lucky that I can access that part of me. But I also have my Cry Lady waiting in the wings!
