Meet Award-Winning Photographer Phil Carpenter at the Montreal Book Launch of "Breast Stories" on Friday, October 19

 Exactly one year ago today, I welcomed artist/photographer Phil Carpenter into my home. We spent the morning talking about a special project he was working on. It involved traveling across Canada and taking semi-nude portraits of women who had survived breast cancer and were living beyond mastectomy. Initially, I had agreed to write the foreword to his book. But after viewing many of his remarkable portraits, I decided to also pose for him. I’m so happy I did. Breast Stories: Cancer Survivors Speak Out is a brave book. It invites you to peer into the evolving beauty and wisdom of women — captured in the stunning portraits and frank personal essays of more than 50 survivors from British Columbia to Newfoundland and Labrador. And, ultimately, it celebrates life!
