The Flying Pig Came Home & Will Escort Me to the Sunshine Coast Festival of the Written Arts

You may recall, last week I launched The Flying Pig into orbit to keep NASA’s Rover “Curiosity” company on Mars. Things didn’t go as planned, and the poor pig was presumed lost in space. Well, not only did he find his way home, he found a friend along the way! We’re catching the ferry to Sechelt in the afternoon and will spend the week at The Sunshine Coast Festival of the Written Arts. This will be my first time visiting Sechelt, B.C. and I’m really looking forward to it. So are the pigs! I’m paired with Kim Clark on Sunday, August 19th at 2:30 pm for the New Voices event. I just finished reading “Most of Me” and I wish I could get to Sechelt for the Festival but it’s not in the cards this year. Kim Clark is a fellow Nanaimo writer and friend. The two of you will be great!
