Today’s Pink Stroke of Genius: Teenager Brittany Wenger Wins Grand Prize at Google Science Fair For Her Brilliant Breast Cancer Innovation

Inspired by her baby brother’s ailing health and her amazing 6th grade science teacher, Florida’s Brittany Wenger wowed the Google Science Fair‘s panel of judges with her science project: a computer program to help doctors diagnose breast cancer in a less invasive way. The prize includes $50,000, a trip to the Galapagos Islands, and one year of mentoring and internship opportunities. And, of course, heartfelt gratitude from the world-wide breast cancer community!
