Ms. Mastectomy Loves Her Treasured Chest Torso Sculpture Made By Artist Shaney Jo Darden

This afternoon I dropped by Trinity Salon & Spa — a quaint pampering paradise — that was hosting  The Treasured Chest Program. Well known in the United States, The Treasured Chest was started by artist Shaney Jo Darden as a way to help young women deal with breast cancer.  By creating  one-of-a-kind plaster sculptures of  their torsos, these gals took them home and turned them into personalized works of art. Something I plan to do with my casted torso!  Intrigued?  The Treasured Chest will be holding another event soon at Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Classical Chinese Garden.
